Je viens de découvrir le site d'un Américain amoureux de la Roumanie et de la Reine Marie. http://www.tkinter.smig.net
J'ai cherché alors dans la petite bibliothèque que j'avais constituée en France, au cours des années. Je me souvenais  avoir un livre que mon fils avait reçu de l'un de ses professeurs, il y a quatre ans, lorsqu'il faisait ses études au Ceram de Nice. C'est un ouvrage historique solide: Hannah Pakula, "Queen of Roumania, The life of Princess Marie, grand-daughter of Queen Victoria", Eland, 1989. J'ai envoyé quelques mots d'appréciation au créateur du site, qui m'a répondu ceci: (...) I very much like your words: “Queen Maria was more Romanian and felt better the destiny of this people than today Romanians”. Romania did have a very promising destiny and let’s just hope that it can be recovered and Romania’s heritage can be maintained.(...)
Alors, j'ai pensé lui signaler cet ouvrage. En le feuillettant plus attentivement, j'ai particulièrement aimé quelques mottos, en tête de certains chapitres. Cet Américain ne parle pas français (il a seulement vu que mon site était bien fourni et a regardé les photos...hélas, je ne peux acheter en ligne plus d'espace pour en mettre davantage), voilà pourquoi je reproduis plus loin ces mottos en original, à son intention aussi.
